Alliterative names: a superhero alter ego list

6 Mar

In alphabetical order:

  1. Billy Batson
  2. Bruce Banner
  3. Lois Lane (I know she’s not technically a superhero)
  4. Matt Murdock
  5. Otto Octavius (he wasn’t always a villain)
  6. Peter Parker
  7. Reed Richards
  8. Scott Summers
  9. Sue Storm
  10. Warren Worthington III

Can you come up with such a list?

If Peter Parker and other civilian names are allowed and not just the names of the alter egos, and if alliteration consists of sound repetition rather than mere repetition of consonants (which I contest that it does), then I add to the list one classic mammoth of secret identity: Clark Kent! There it was, hiding all that time, right beneath my nose…

@Jeremy: Well done, sir. We’ll now return to more substantive blogging, I promise.

Aside from your cartoonish ramblings, Mr. Johnson, we gratefully acknowledge your contributions from the DC (‘Detective Comics’) universe.
